A Valentine for him

Happy Sunday everyone! It's the start of a brand new week. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Today is my wedding anniversary. :) I have been married to my wonderful husband for 12 years! He is truly the love of my life second only to my Lord Jesus Christ. We have had a tremendous life together. Here's to 12....oh let's shoot for the stars....112 more years together! :o)
I have a card to share with you today. I think this is a nice 'male' Valentine card...no real cutsie'ness', no bling, no flowers...just a straight forward card from the heart.


I used real red c/s for my base. The bottom panel is a strip from a piece of patterned paper (DCWV stack 6) backed with white c/s. The other panel is black c/s backed with white c/s. I used my well scripted SU! stamp set for the sentiment. I used my real red marker for the two dots and backed it with black c/s. For the white hearts, I used the more random stamp from Itty Bitty Backgrounds. I stamped it in basic black ink on white c/s and then punched it with my 3 heart punch. I placed the smallest from the punched shapes on the top of my real red heart (Simply Said stamp set). I used a dimensional behind it and the larger heart.
So, what do you think? Good male card?...or do you think the hearts would scare them off. :)
