What a Cute Mystery!

The Mystery Swappers are at it again. This image is sooooo cute. I think I'm gonna have to stroll on over to The Angel Company and look around. I decided to go with a semi-monocromatic theme this go around.....blues and greens.....

I used my SU! ink pads to watercolor the image. The colors I used were, Night of Navy, Marina Mist, Pacific Point, Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Wild Wasabi. I used my copics for the skin (E00, E000, R20, blender)

I'm really just learning the whole shading thing when I watercolor. It's a work in progress. :)

On the ticket that Tami sent us (thanks Tami for a gorgeous image!) I decided to make it my sentiment piece and I just wrote my greeting, "The Sun Will Shine Again!". I thought this could be a great "pick me up" card for someone.

Thanks for visiting today!

Until next time...

Movie Night with the Dueling Darlings!

That's right! It's time again for a Dueling Darlings Challenge.

This round Joan (Divas) and I (Dazzlers)(yep! it was my turn!) hosted. We decided on a fun theme, "Movie Night". I thought that was something new and different. Good Job Joan! :) *giggle*

Well, I went with my DS's favorite Movie for this challenge......."Toy Story". Any of the 3, he loves them all!

I sent the Dazzlers 2 Woody images and 2 Buzz images. I also sent them Toy Story paper from Creative Memories and star paper from DCWV. I embossed a piece of chocolate chip c/s (that I ran through my big shot with the top note die cut) with the spots and dots embossing folder. Their accessories were star buttons, silver brads and hemp twine.

Here's what I came up with...

The images were very detailed. Sorry girls, I know how long it took me to color them! Yikes!

I'm gonna use mine as a scrapbook accent with some pics of DS with his Toy Story fiqures.

Hope you like my creation! Be sure to check out all the other Dueling Darlings and see what Joan sent her team too. Their blogs are in my left sidebar.

Have a blessed day!

Until next time...

Chinese Forest?

Well, this is the card I made for the latest Forest swap over on SCS and the circles reminded me of beautiful Chinese lanterns. So, hence my post's title. :)
