It's All About Love!

The Darlings are Dueling again! Yep! It's time to see us duel!

Sweet P is the Dazzlers hostess this round.
She and Judy (Divas hostess) came up with:
It's All About Love
for our theme. :)

Sweet P outdid herself with this cute kit.
Here's what I made:

I LOVE the papers Sweet P sent! Gorgeous colors!
They went perfect with my very vanilla card base and cherry cobbler card stock piece!
Here's the inside.

I made this card for the challenge of course, but I also made it for my hubby.
This is his Valentine's card. :)
He is a huge Crimson Tide (Alabama College football) fan so the color in this card, in the kit, fit him to a tee! Thanks Sweet P!

Be sure and check out the other Darlings creations. Their blog links are located in my left sidebar.

Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

Love and Hugs!

Hi everyone!

It's time again to show you my Design Team creations with our February kit from the Scrapbooking with M.E. Boutique (FB). You can find the boutique by clicking on the badge in my right sidebar.

This month's kit came from Echo Park and boy was it wonderful! I love all the colors!

Here's one card I made. I love the sticky letters that came in the kit! I added my Natural White card base (SU!) and some black crochet thread. In the corner I used the lace as a stencil and sponged some ink on the card stock.
If you follow my blog, you know that I like to layer accents to add to my cards. The heart piece is a cut out from the kit. I layered it onto Natural White c/s and Real Red c/s. Then on top of it I layered 3 of the flowers from the kit with one of the pearls. The banners are sticky accents from the kit along with the black baker's twine.
I also made a 6x6 album. I want to put pics of hubby and me in this and it be just for us. We had our 15th Wedding Anniversary on Feb. 7th. I have made pages in this for that occasion. :)
1st page
2nd page
3rd page
I made a pocket for the little tag and pic of hubby.
4th page
5th page
This is one of the pages for our 15th Anniversary pic.
 6th page
(love that black lace that came in the kit)
back cover
(or I can add a pic and journaling to this and add more pages. I have plenty of the card stock left!)

What do you think? Did I do the kit justice? :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

Jeanette, Jeanette! She's Our Gal!

Hi all!

This is my creation for the Crafty Gals Blog Group challenge due today.
We are honoring our own Ms. Jeanette (Forest Ranger).
We were to CASE a creation from her blog or use things on our creation that we think she would love. I know she loves patterned paper, Nature, punch art and recycled items (just to name a few), so I tried to include a few of those in my card.
This also goes along with this week's Twisted Tuesday Challenge to make a creation for a couple ~ can be anniversary, Valentine, etc. and the Twist is to use the color black preferably ribbon or lace but any black will do. You can find the Twisted Challenge by clicking the badge in my right sidebar.

(the little black pearl eye is not on this birdie....don't know where it went but use your imagination) hahaha
 (inside of the card)
Oh, did I mention that this card is also my creation for Jeanette's swap she has on SCS. "Music in the Forest" This music note is made with the branch on the SU! bird punch and the circles on the SU! Owl punch.

I also made card candy for her swap.
The pictures are horrible but I could not get a clear one of either. I'm not sure the reason but here goes......
