Helllloooooo....everyone!
Hope you had a productive week and now will have a relaxing weekend. Lord knows I won't! ha! I've got way too much to do and too little time to do it.
Last night we had our Sunday School Christmas party. We played Dirty Santa. The gifts had to be $10 or less. Okay, I admit I forgot until the last minute so I made something! It is the best way...I don't care what my non-crafty sister says! *sticking tounge out* neener neener!!!!
This is what I came up with...
I stamped a candle and made 3 thank you cards with envelopes.
Here's a close up of the candle. I used SU! stamp set Best Blossoms (retired). I stamped the leaf stamp on tissue paper in old olive ink. Cut it out and use wax paper and my heating tool and ta da! I wrapped some sheer choc. ribbon around it.
The card is white cardstock with the same leaf stamp in old olive ink then the sentiment from the same set in choc. chip ink. I used the SU! marker for the dots. I also scored the card on the top and bottom.
So, I wrapped the cards, envelopes and candle up in tissue paper and cellophane with a ribbon.
I'm posting this right before I leave for the party and scheduling it to post Saturday so I don't know if my gift got 'taken' a lot. I'll update you on my next post. hee! hee! :)
Until next time...
Blessings...
