Simple Workshop Make & Take

Happy December my bloggy friends! It's feeling Holiday'ish' around here. Now in Alabama our Christmas weather is usually in the 50's but if this week in 'Bama is any reflection of how it's going to be in 23 days....I'm gonna have to go buy me a heavier coat! The kiddos and I got in the SUV this morning and the temp read 32 degrees....BRRRR! I know all you that live North of me are rolling your eyes right now but this Southern Chick is just not used to cold, cold weather. Our high on Thursday is only suppossed to be around 43 degrees if it rains and then only rises that much I wouldn't be surprised if they call off school....I'm not kidding....people panic down here if it's gets below freezing and ice on the roads. That usually calls for no school and no milk and bread at the grocery store!!!! HA! HA! HA! You think I'm kidding, but I'm serious!
Oh well enough about us Southerners. Here's the card the ladies will be making Thursday night at a SU! workshop. This is their make & take card. I tried to make it very simple, as to not overwhelm the ones who've never stamped but to also make a pretty card for the experienced ones.

I used WW c/s as my base. Then I stamped the two snowflakes from the Snow Swirled set in Real red ink and Old Olive ink. I cut a strip of Merry Moments DSP for the bottom. I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive ink from the same set and punched it out with the scalloped oval punch. Then I used my handy dandy 1/16 hole punch and made two connecting holes and threaded a piece of linen thread through the Real red c/s. I placed the sentiment on with dimenstionals.
Do you think this is okay for a make & take? I hope so.
I'm off to clean up my craft area. I'll be cutting the pieces and getting everything together tomorrow.
Have a great week!
Until next time...
Blessings...

Very pretty card! It's difficult to come up with simpler cards for make & takes, isn't it? I find I have to cut back so much, and it feels strange. But this is really pretty!
