Or Chocolate and Friends...whichever way your priorities are set! hee! hee! Just Kidding!
No I can never remember when I'm posting pics how to get them in the order I want them.
I wanted the card pic first but...the chocolate bar wrap is first. Oh well...
I had a SU! workshop today and I made a few projects to "show off". Here are 2...
Is this wrap yummy or what?! This was my hostess gift I made. She loved it!
I made this using my daisy #2 die I run it through my Big Shot once with Old Olive c/s then again with Bravo Burgundy c/s. The DP wrapped around the Hersey's bar is a sheet from the Tall Tales pack. "For You" is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog stamp set Vintage Labels.
Next...
I started with a very vanilla c/s base. Then a layer of kraft c/s. The two panels are chocolate chip and certainly celery with paper piercing on each. Then I used another piece of very vanilla c/s and stamped an image from the vintage vogue stamp set (Occasions Mini) in certainly celery ink. I sponged chocolate chip ink around the edges then embossed the c/s with my new texturz plate Perfect details (pattern 1). You can't see it that well in the pic. I also used my sanding blocks to distress it a bit. Of course, you can't see that very well either. Believe me it looks good on the card. I backed that with a piece of kraft c/s. Then used my scallop trim border punch on a piece of chocolate chip c/s below my certainly celery ribbon.
It's a few more layers than what I normally do...took a little longer than my clean and simple cards...but I'm happy with it. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time...
Blessings...
