Are you having a perfectly crafty weekend? I went to a crop at my mom's last night and got 7 pages done! Wooo Whooo! I'm sooooooo far behind on my scrapbooking. I'm working on my 2008 album.
This page is of my kiddos Easter '08 sitting in a Bradford Pear tree at my in-laws. The blooms on the tree were so beautiful. The smiles on their faces....even more beautiful!
Our sweet littles! Bethany was terrified standing in the tree even though she was only about 2 feet off the ground....hee! hee!
I will always cherish this pic of Aaron. He was so calm in the tree and loved hamming it up for the camera...a rarity for his Autism. It usually makes him very hyper and agitated when prompted to pose for pics. His 'big boy' teeth had just came in fully so they looked so big for his little face! My mom assured me that they would be fine, that my adult teeth were big too when they first came in but my face 'grew' into them!!!!! ha! ha! ha! very funny mom!
My base paper is from the SU! Sweet Pea paper stack (new in the mini) The other patterned papers are from a My Mind's Eye paper stack. I used my new spiral punch on the strip of pp. I love that thing! I had to use paper flowers of course and little KaiserKraft rhinestones in the middle of them. I also made 2 small flourishes with some of the same rhinestones. I used the ribbon at the bottom to cover up the corner of DD's pic. It had gotten bent and looked bad so I 'embellished' it :)
Thanks so much for taking a few minutes with me today!
Until next time...
