Hello everyone!
...Having a good week? I sure hope so :)
Today I'd like to share with you a card I made using this week's Mojo Monday sketch and the Clean and Simple challenge #59 over on SCS. The theme for that challenge is New York, New York. We were to use it as inspiration. The first thing that came to mind was Glamorous Broadway Shows and Black Tie Affairs...
On a piece of black textured c/s, I used some silver c/s from my scrap box. I've had this paper for years. It is textured, almost crumpled c/s and very shiny. I love it and am treasuring every last piece I have. I used a large square punch with the silver then used a smaller punch on some flocked paper. I used a stamp with the Circle Circus stamp set & punched it out with the same small punch. I cut that panel in thirds then put it on a white panel. Mounted that onto another piece of silver. My polka dot ribbon is also from my scraps. I threaded some thin, sheer gray ribbon through a button and then tied that around the other ribbon. My sentiment is computer generated and punched with the large oval punch (SU!)
I love the look of my corner rounder on 2 layers of the panel and the bottom of the card. I think it gave this card just the right touch :)
Well, I've got a crafting area to clean up...what a mess!
Until next time...
Blessings...
