Twirly Flowers

Middle of the week...what have you been up to?
We're winding down the school year. This is me and the kiddos last week (we're overly excited as I've mentioned in most every post for the last month!).
We have some swimming on the agenda for this holiday weekend. What's in your plans?

Anyway, I promised you some cards after 8 days of scrapbook pages, so here you go:

I tried my hand at rolled flowers. I cut strips of textured bashful blue c/s and then tore one edge of each strip. Roll them up, smash them a little then fan them out. Glue the edges and then adhere to your card with edges facing in. I used zip dry adhesive to place them on the card. I used my new Martha Stewart 3 hole border punch on some perfect plum c/s. I LOVE that punch! I added a little strip of misc. polka dot dp on top of that then cut some old olive satin ribbon for the leaves of the flower. My sentiment is from SU! Three Little Words stamp set.

I made this card using this week's challenge at: Clean and Simple Stamping - FTL 91! sketch

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Until next time...
Blessings...
