The Dueling has Started Again!

Hello
Thanks so much for stopping by my little ole blog today. You are so appreciated!

I'm part of a group on SCS called the Dueling Darlings. We are a challenge group that has monthly hostesses that send card kits to each lady in her group. (2 groups, the Dazzlers and the Divas). This month I am the hostess for the Dazzlers! GO TEAM! :)
Joan is the hostess for the Divas and our theme is "The Little Things".
We sent 3 images/sentiments in our kits and they had to be small. The challenge was to use 1 of each image on our creations. Our embellishments and papers we sent were also small and had little designs on them.

I went all out this month and used lots of layers! So different for me, I loved it! :)
Sorry ladies, I didn't have anywhere to use my little blue circles of c/s or my white button.
I knotted my baker's twine in 3 places and cut off the ends for a Nautical look.

Another part of my challenge for the dazzlers was to use a sentiment that went along with the images. Since all the image I sent had "shells", I went with this cute sentiment from Inkadinkado.

Also, each lady was to post what was the first thing that came to their minds when they saw our theme title, "The Little Things".....my first thought were the things my children do for me that might seem small now but one day when they're grown, will be the things I remember most. :)

I hope you have a minute to visit all the other Darlings. Their blogs can be found in my left sidebar.

Have a great day!
Until next time...
Blessings...

Melina

Loved the kit and love your card! You are so right about the little things that your children do meaning the world. It's the same way when they are grown, let me assure you. I really like the contrast and rich colors that you used here. And the circles...one of your fav shapes I read somewhere...! Hugs to you & thanks a bunch for the fun kit.
