I'm so Glad You Are in My Life, Darlins!

It's the 15th! Yes, Yes, Yes! It's Dueling time again!
Oh my I've been itching to show this card ever since I got it done last week. That's what I get for finishing early! I've had to look at it everyday and keep it to myself! I'm so glad I get to share it with you today. :)
This month's theme: Let Me Call You Sweetheart
Lil dj (djones over on SCS) is our February hostess for the Dazzlers. Carol (momcgw on SCS) was the hostess for the Divas.
I've got to say, when I saw this kit. I was overjoyed. I loved the papers Debbie sent. The ribbons, the brads, the buttons.....Oh My....and those little mirror dots. Too, too cute! As for the little "love" charm. I do believe this is the first time I've added a charm to my ribbon when tying it and I'm so in "love" with how that looks! Thank you sweetie!
I mean, look at this card. The only things I added was the white base and the gray piece behind the image! Truly spectacular kit Debbie! You rock!
I colored the image with SU! markers and watercolor pencils.
...and yes, this is a shot of the inside of my card. Yes, I did decorate the inside. Something about the Dueling Darlings brings out the decorator in me! *giggle*
On the front and back, I distressed the polka dot paper with Soft Suede ink.

Please make sure and check out the other ladies' blogs. They are all listed in my left sidebar.

**I think I will be giving this to one of my friend's who has a little sweetie at home that from his first day on this earth has been fighting to stay alive. He is a trooper. Little Jack has had numerous surgeries and has quite a few left in his future. I know that sometimes it has to be overwhelming for his wonderful mommy. But, she doesn't show it. She had to quit her job because his care requires her attention 24/7. She has sacrificed a lot and I know she wouldn't have it any other way. She is one of the strongest woman I know and I'm so glad to call her my friend. Hugs, Lecia :~)**

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. You are appreciated.

Until next time...
Blessings...

Melina

*Oh, this card also goes along with this week's encouragement challenge at the Crafty Gals Blog Group ~ Use something shiny on your creation.*

It was a wonderful kit to work with....I loved it and I too had to keep it under wraps and not tell a soul (or show them!).

Just gorgeous! So soft and sweet and the perfect representation of friendship! I have to LOL here -- I for a second was quite stumped, I thought how odd Melina is posting a Dazzler kit? LOL!! My mind surely has a "mind" of it's own! But regardless, this is a winner!! Lovely in all ways!

*Blessings! x0x0

Melina, wow... your card is gorgeous! Of course it's good that you told Lecia's story after the pictures, or else I wouldn't be able to see your card for the tears. (Pass the tissues, please!)

I love the way you placed every detail of your card so perfectly. And look at you, decorating the inside, too. ;) Isn't that fun!?!?!?

Just DARLING! You've dazzled us with your creativity!
