Finally Finished this Album!

Hi all!
I'm so excited because I finally finished my niece's baby album I started over a year ago! I'm such a procrastinator! ugh

These two pages finished off the album:

This was my niece's first Christmas. (Yes, you have seen pages on my blog of her in this outfit before.....I'm so ashamed at how slowly I finished this thing!) The papers I used are from an old SU! Christmas pack. I am trying my best not to buy anymore patterned paper/card stock until I use up a lot that I already have.
The title is cut with my Cricut using the All Mixed Up cartridge.

For this page I followed a sketch over at Sketches in Thyme
I love the Sketches over there!

Then, this is the last page of the album:
I was able to start the album with her birth (yes, I was in the delivery room with my Sis!) and finished it when she was just shy of 1 year old. :)
The title on this page is cut with the same cartridge as the one above.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Until next time...
Blessings...

It's a Twisted Tuesday Free For All!

Hi Everyone!

It's time for another Twisted Tuesday Challenge.

This challenge is super easy!
It's the 5th Tuesday of the month and that means it's a Free For All Challenge!
Anything Goes.

I decided to share with you the cards I made from the Webster Pages, Parkdrive kit I played with over the weekend. Visit the Scrapbooking with ME Boutique on Facebook for more details about the kit (You can find the group by clicking the badge in my right sidebar). I posted this past Saturday, a mini album I made with the kit. I have so much left over I was able to make some cards. I still have 8 full pieces of card stock and lots of card stock stickers left over. That kit is huge!

This first one is really simple (well, goodness, all of these are super simple). I inked around the edges of all the pieces. punched out a piece with my SU! flower punch. Then used some circle punches for the middle. The sentiment comes from the SU! set ~ Petite Pairs
I love panel cards. I made this one with 3 different pieces of card stock from the kit. I punched some very vanilla card stock with my circle punch and lined them up. I used another SU! punch to go along with the sentiment from the Delightful Dozen set. Then added some chocolate pearls to finish it off.
I went a little wacky with this one. I pierced some holes on the edge then strung some thread through the last hole and tied a bow. I used my scallop edge punch and large scallop circle punch (both from SU!). Then added 2 sentiments from the CTMH set ~ Card Chatter - Sympathy.
This one I am so pleased with. I did very little to this card. I cut a piece of the card stock from the kit to be my focal point and added it to the card on pop dots. The sentiment is from the same CTMH set as above. I then punched a hole in the card with my crop a dile. Then, strung thread through a few times and tied a bow.

Info:
Most all the edges of the cards are inked with Tim Holtz vintage linen distress ink.
All the sentiments are inked with Chocolate Chip ink from SU!
I used my sanding block on the 3rd card to get the rough effect on the grey card stock.

Thank you so much for stopping by my little blog.

Until next time...

January Kit Project from Scrapbooking with M.E.!

Hi all!

I have a little something to show you. I've been working on my January project for the Scrapbooking with M.E. Boutique over on Facebook. This month's kit is from Webster Pages. It's called Parkdrive. I love all the soft colors in it.

I made a mini album.
I used my deckled rectangle Spellbinders (the largest one in that set)
I used cereal box card board for my page bases then cut the pieces of card stock from the kit to fit.

Here's the front. I used my Stampin' Up! flower punch and a circle punch for the flower. I added a charm from the kit to the middle. the Forever and Ever is a sticker from the kit. I backed it with a piece of card stock. The pearl swirl is from want2Scrap (sold at Scrapbooking with M.E.)
I made a circle banner on the first page. The circles are cut from the card stock.
The second page has two of the card stock stickers on it. I cut some banners and added more of the swirly pearls.
The third and forth page has Kaiser craft flowers added to them. I also used my flower punch again. The Love is all Around is a card stock sticker and the butterfly is a charm from the kit. I love twine and pearls as you can tell. :) The little basket to the right of the butterfly is cut from a piece of the card stock.
Here's the last 2 pages. The charm on the right side is a little bird (pic is blurry). The Life is Good is a card stock sticker from the kit.

Here's a close up of one of the page accents.

I have a YouTube video of this project too:

Thanks so much for stopping by!
If you're not a member of the Scrapbooking with M.E. Boutique on Facebook, we'd love to see you there! There are great bargains and great projects posted by other crafters on our projects page. :)

Until next time...

Playing Hillbilly Golf!

I'm on a roll! :)

I love when the crafting mojo stops by my house and stays awhile. It's great!

Here's a double layout I made going simply by an idea in my head.
I had 11 pictures that I wanted to fit onto 2 pages. I didn't want to drag them out onto lots of pages so I had to come up with my own layout. You know, there aren't a lot of sketches out there that have room for 11 pictures! Hahahahaha

So, if you've ever been to Gatlinburg, TN you know where we went mini golfing.
Hillbilly Golf
You get to ride an incline up the mountain to start your game. It was so much fun!

I used the Jasmine cartridge for my Title and for my funky little black suns I used the Accent Essentials cartridge. I added some torn cream card stock and black pearls for finishing touches.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Until next time...
Blessings...

Sleepover!

Hello everyone! I hope your day is going well.

Today I wanted to share with you a double page layout I completed following a couple different challenges.

The Twisted Tuesday Challenge (challenge #41) team wants us to use their tic tac toe board to create this week.
I used the top 3 across.
twine ~ at the bottom of each page
Thank You ~ to mommy for letting them spend the night at NayNay's house (grandmother)
Tearing ~ Slight bit on the patterned card stock pieces.

The Twist to their challenge is for you to use a crafty machine to help you create. I used my Cricut for my title/wording and retro flowers.

Next, the team over at Sketches in Thyme had a wonderful sketch I used.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!

Until next time...

Sweet 16!

Hi all!

I was asked to make a few decorations for our nephew's 16th birthday.
I was stumped! I mean guy stuff! Gasp! Sooooo out of my element!
I just don't make that must masculine stuff.
But, his mom (my sister in law) told me his colors and from there....it was pretty easy. :)

I made cupcake toppers....

...and his birthday banner...

 (above is entire banner)
(close up of his name)

and here's the card we gave him...

He is a shy kid. So, he was pretty "red" when he saw what was going on.
But, he had a great party and his parents surprised him with a vehicle!

:) :) :)

Thanks for stopping by...

Until next time...

This Mystery Makes Me Hungry!

Yep! It's Mystery time again!

Jeanette sent us all images that I've never seen before and well, just made me hungry!

Look at what we got to play with this round...

Have you ever seen a more tasty image?! I love pizza! :)
I found some checkered "table cloth" paper I had to use with this. Then I thought I wanted to use something that reminded me of the pepperonis on the slice of warm pizza. So, that's where the three red, punched circles come in. The "Let's Eat!" piece was cut from some DCWV card stock.

I couldn't resist an idea that popped in my head once I got the front of my card done...
Anyone want a slice?! :)

I can't wait to see what my other Mysterious Sisters came up with!
Thanks Jeanette for a fun set of images this round!!!!

Until next time...
Blessings...

Book Blitz with the Dueling Darlings

Hi Y'all! :)

I'm a little late in the day posting my Dueling Darlings creation. Terry is the Dazzler's hostess this month. She sent a great kit. I love the theme they came up with. Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author. I've read all his books and wait patiently during the fall of the year for his next one to be released. :) I'm hooked!!!

Here's what I made with Terry's kit:

(sorry for the slightly blurry picture....it is very rainy and gloomy here...camera wasn't cooperating)

I added the blue card stock and bird button. The rest came from the kit! I love earth tones and the script patterned paper is wonderful.

Thanks for stopping by!
Please check out what the other Darlings made. Their blogs are listed in my left sidebar.

Until next time...

Twisted Tuesday is Using Color!

Hello Everyone!
I hope you are having a great week.

Twisted Tuesdays posted a new challenge today.

We want to see the color blocking technique. If you're not familiar with that just show us some blocks (or panels) of colors on your creation.

The Twist is you must use at least 3 different colors. (more is fine too)

Please use the link box in the top right of my blog to visit the Twisted Tuesdays Challenge Blog.

Thanks!

Crafty Gals are Free!

Hi All!

O Happy day! I hope you're having a good one.

Today is the 5th so that means the Crafty Gals Blog group is at it again.
This month though we had so much going on from the Holidays that we decided to make January's challenge a very easy one. Our challenge this month was "Anything Goes". So, we can share anything we have been working on. We just had to show something today on our blog. :)

I've had my hands in quite a bit of stuff crafty lately, but not a lot of finished projects. Anyone else out there know what I mean? Ugh...
Anywho, here's two projects I did, very simple, but of course, that's me, simple. hahaha

First off, I didn't have a chance to share these goody bags I made for Christmas to give out to friends. I made no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies and then put them in cello bags with a patterned paper tag that I punched out and then punched a tiny hole in them and attached them to the bags with raffea. Simple, but cute.

Next,
I have had this red card stock and these 3 pictures laying on my craft desk for over a month. I just never seemed to have an idea of what to do with them. Then I thought of the sketch at Twisted Tuesdays Challenge blog and thought....."hmmmmmmm, this will work!". :)

Here's the sketch at Twisted Tuesdays

and this page is the double layout to THIS PAGE I created a little while ago and posted.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Please be sure to check out what the other Crafty Gals are working on. Their blogs are listed in my right sidebar. ---------------------------------->

Until next time...

So Sorry!

I'm so bad!
I'm sorry I have neglected my blog.
The Holidays have really thrown me for a loop and I have a little fur ball to keep up with too.

This is Peanut. Our new Yorkie puppy

and this pic is just a little sampling of how crazy our Holiday Season was:

Yes, this is our Annual family picture in front of our tree. Yes, that is our son being a clown. He gets very giggly, very quickly and was tired of pictures after only three shots. Thankfully, we got one good one before he ran to his room. LOL

I will get some crafting in soon. I promise!

Until next time...
Blessings...
