CCC #26

Hey ladies....
Sorry to be MIA for a week. I hope you all had a great weekend.
Only 19 days left of school! yay! I can't wait to sleep in on June 1st! :D Isn't that pitiful? I'm counting down the days until I can sleep past 6:25am on a week day...hee! hee!

I finally got an hour set aside to do a little crafting. It seems like it's been forever since I got to sit at my crafting desk. I had to start by finishing my scrapbook pages for the Crafty Critter blog group challenge (#26) hosted by Moira...Hiya girl!

Here's the deets:

I want to see a double page layout (for those of you who are card makers - make two cards)..

Please use the following sketches...
Page 1
Page 2

I don't want to limit you to anything else.... so no other requirements...

So, here's what I came up with:

I'm a chronological scrapper. Now, I do stray from that some....but very rarely. I have pics from a beach trip we took in 2007 that are still not scrapped but it's just because I haven't found the right album to put them in. That's another thing. I don't scrap pics until I have the album I'm going to put them in. I'm so afraid I will scrap some and then not have an album and sit the pages somewhere...then forget about them.
I'm working on my 2008 album and these are some pages from our Savannah, Georgia trip. I absolutely loved that town! It was gorgeous and the restaurants were delicious too. If you ever go, take a guided bus tour! It was the best part of our entire trip. We would have never navigated around the city and seen everything if we didn't take that tour.
My b/g card stock is dusty durango. I used some scrap paper from my stash for the scalloped squares (using scallop square punch). Another piece of scrap for the panel on the 2nd page, some linen thread and vintage brads to finish the pages. Oh, the old olive letters are cut with my Big shot and the other title and journaling is computer generated.

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Until next time...
Blessings...
