Hi everybody!
Happy Friday :)
Today is the 5th.....that means the Crafty Gals are "CASE"ing someone in our group. This month our Gal is Barb! I love Barb's clean style. She often showcases a larger sentiment on her creations like THIS so I wanted to use those cards as my inspiration.
Here's what I made:
Barb also likes to use patterned papers of which I rarely do so I used polka dots just for her! :)
Be sure and stop by the other Crafty Gals blogs to see what they created in honor of Barb. They are listed in my right side bar.
Supplies:
Stamp: Stampabilities
Paper: natural white, very vanilla and basic black (SU) and Jolly Holiday dsp (SU)
Embellishments: cherry cobbler quilted ribbon and linen thread (SU), and MFT steel gray collection button
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Until next time...
Blessings...
Melina

How ironic that Jeanette showcased Barb's love of big sentiments also!
Your card is quite fun!
{Are you saying Barb is dotty? Like losing her mind?}
Melina--such a pretty card. I do love sentiments on my card and yours is a perfect one too/.
Thanks for the sweet works and I do appreciate being a part of this fun group!

I love the dots Melina! Great CASE!
I would never have guessed you don't use patterned paper as you definitely have the eye for putting it together. Great card, Melina.
Love the colorful polka dots paper. I rarely make a card with patterned paper so I totally get Barb's love of it. Nice layout.
Melina, what a sweet card. Looks like inspiration from Barb to me! Great sentiment
This is a great CASE of Barb's stye!! Love the bright red with the natural, vanilla and white cardstock, accented with the black layer. A very effective technique!
This card is lovely! The polka dots were a great choice. Wonderful way to honor Barb.
